How we work

Most people find a plumber in a hurry, usually while something is going wrong. That shapes everything about how we run. The phone is answered by a person at any hour. You get an arrival window based on where a truck actually is, not a vague promise. And you hear the price for the job before anyone starts, so the invoice at the end holds no surprises.

We quote flat prices rather than hourly rates. An hourly rate rewards a slow plumber and punishes a customer with a complicated house. A flat price for the job puts the risk on us, where it belongs.

Repair before replace

If a part will fix it, we fit the part. There are situations where replacement genuinely is the better value, and we will explain exactly why when we get there. A water heater with a failed thermocouple at five years old gets a thermocouple. A tank rusting through at twelve years old gets replaced, and we will tell you that rather than sell you a repair that buys a few months.
