Emergency Plumbing in Mexico: what the job involves
When water is moving somewhere it should not be, the clock matters more than the quote. Our Mexico emergency line is answered by a dispatcher at 3am the same way it is at 3pm, and the first thing you get is help finding your main shut-off so the damage stops before a van even reaches the curb. Most emergency calls in Mexico come down to four things: a supply line that let go, a drain that backed up into the lowest fixture in the house, a water heater that split, or a fitting that froze and cracked over the winter.
We carry the parts that actually end the call on the truck: shark-bite and press fittings in the common residential sizes, wax rings, supply lines, fill valves, thermocouples, PRVs, and a sectional machine for a drain that will not wait until morning. If a repair needs a permit or a part nobody stocks at midnight, we make the leak safe, get water back to the rest of the house, and come back to finish it properly.
When to call us
- Water running behind a wall, ceiling or under the floor
- Sewage backing up into a tub, floor drain or basement
- No water at any fixture in the building
- Smell of gas near a water heater, boiler or gas range
Mexico and the area around it
Housing across Mexico runs from pre-war homes on original galvanized supply lines to newer builds on PEX, and the problems split along the same lines. Older properties call us about pressure that has dropped away, rust in the hot water and clay sewer laterals with roots at every joint. Newer homes call about fittings, water heaters and drains. We carry parts for both.
We would rather talk you out of work you do not need. If a water heater has a dead element and a sound tank, that is a repair, not a replacement. If a drain has been cabled three times in two years, cleaning it again is not the answer and we will say so.

Reviews from Mexico customers
Called about a dripping faucet and mentioned three other little things while he was here. He did all four in one visit and it cost less than two separate call-outs.

How fast can you get to me in Mexico?
It depends on where the nearest available van is and what is already on the board, but we give you an honest window on the phone rather than an optimistic one. If a truck is two hours out, we say two hours and we walk you through stopping the water in the meantime.
Do you charge more at night or on a holiday?
After-hours work carries a higher rate than a scheduled weekday visit. You hear that number before we roll, not after the work is done.
What should I do while I wait?
Close the main water valve, then open the lowest faucet in the house to drain the pressure out of the pipes. If the leak is anywhere near electrical, cut power to that area at the panel.
Do you charge extra for nights, weekends or holidays?
After-hours work in Mexico carries a higher rate than a scheduled weekday appointment. That rate is quoted on the phone before we dispatch, so the number you agree to is the number on the invoice.
Can you come out today?
Same-day appointments in Mexico are usually available for drain cleaning, water heater faults, leaks and fixture repairs. True emergencies are dispatched as soon as a van is free, day or night.
Do you work on older homes in Mexico?
Constantly. Much of the housing stock here predates modern materials, so we carry fittings and transitions for galvanized, cast iron and older copper systems as a matter of course.
