What this job actually involves
Replacing a toilet looks simple and goes wrong in predictable ways: a corroded flange that will not hold bolts, a floor that is not flat, a supply stop that seizes the moment it is touched, and a wax ring compressed at an angle that leaks quietly into the floor for a year.
We deal with the flange properly, shim and set the pan level, fit a new supply and stop valve while access is open, and check the flush and the seal before we leave. Old unit removed.

Customer reviews
Water line to the house was leaking under the lawn. They located it, replaced the run, and put in a new shut-off that actually works.
Denise A.Water line repairBought an older house and had them scope the sewer before closing. The camera found a bellied section and I renegotiated. Best money I spent on that purchase.
Claire B.Sewer camera inspectionThe quote I got was the number on the invoice, on a Saturday night call-out. That alone will keep me coming back.
Ines V.Emergency plumbingToilet Installation & Replacement: common questions
Can you install a toilet I bought myself?
Yes. We are happy to fit a customer-supplied unit and we will tell you before we start if anything about it is going to cause a problem.
Why does my new toilet still rock?
Almost always an uneven floor that was not shimmed, or a flange sitting below finished floor level. Both are fixable and both need doing properly.
How long does it take?
A straightforward replacement is usually an hour or two. Flange repair adds time.
